G22 Action

Agenda
  1. Past, present, and future.
    • Past: Flycloser Achievement Museum Walk, student course assignment for the 2105-2016 school year, and touched base with Math Team Vision
    • Future: Update SMART Goal Action Steps
  2. Achievement Museum Walk
    • Q: What does the achievement museum walkthrough tell us about how we can come closer to magnum?
      • Sometimes a physical paper prevents us from accurately representing the art that is taking place in the classroom.
    • Q: If we could only focus our learning on one practice to improve student outcomes - what might that be?
      • Students being able to think and problem solve. We need to ask higher order questions to our students. Work that requires our students to explain their work and/or thoughts. Evidence that they have a clear understanding of the topic.
  3. ACT and IA3 next Tuesday - "Bringing the Heat"
    • Q: How are we inspiring IA and ACT growth this week in our content areas?
      • IA rollout and growth goal discussion
      • Continuing ACT Prep and review - embedding it as part of the SS process each day.
      • Reviewing IA data after SS. Discussing year to year trends on IA data.
      • Celebrating students in our physical space for their growth.
    • Reminder: Update SGG's by 3.3.15
  4. Collect student course recommendation papers from last meeting.
  5. Charlie - Math Team Vision
    • Brainstorm essential questions about the subject of Mathematics that we could pose to our students that would provoke thought and curiosity.
